HOW TO MAKE HOMEMADE CHOCOLATE MARBLE CAKE

For quite some time now, I have been craving for a chocolate marble cake and the thought of buying the cake every time makes me feel like I'm overspending on things I can try to make at home. So I challenged myself to bake a tasty, moist and spongy chocolate marble and I did it!!... You....can also try to make at the comfort of your home

 

Ingredients

2 cups of all-purpose flour

1/2 cup of sugar

1/2 cup of warm milk or natural yogurt 

1/2 of melted butter/blue band (equals to 5 tablespoon)

2 eggs

1 tablespoon of baking powder

1 tablespoon of vanilla essence

1/2 teaspoon of baking soda

1/4 teaspoon of salt

2 tablespoon of drinking chocolate

 

Instructions

1.     Preheat the oven at 350oF or at 180ofor 20 minutes

2.     In a large bowl, beat the eggs with a whisk or a hand mixer until some bubble form.

3.     Add the sugar and mix until a good percentage of sugar has dissolved.

4.      Add the cup of milk or yogurt, butter and the tablespoon of vanilla essence 

5.     Mix thoroughly with the whisk or hand mixer

6.     Add the flour bit by bit and mix until combined.

7.      Add the baking powder, baking soda and salt.

8.     Make sure you have a flowing consistency.

9. Divide the batter into two sections.

10. The first portion of the batter mix with the drinking chocolate thoroughly until a dark color forms.

11. Pour some portion of the plain batter in a baking tray.

12. Pour the batter with drinking chocolate on top of the plain batter.

13. Repeat the process if your batter is not finished.

14.  Bake the cake for 45 minutes to one hour.

15. To confirm if the cake is well cooked you can insert a clean knife at the center of the cake if it comes out clean the cake is well cooked.

16. Allow the cake to cool for at least an hour.
